Ah, I forgot about that (I had played with Gmail many months ago). I
remember that at that point you could just set GMAIL_AT from the
cookie and the "at" post parameter to anything that matched, including
just a blank string, but I tried that just now and it failed. Good on
Google for fixing it, even if it's causing you problems, Rob. ;-)

Here's a possibility: to keep GMAIL_AT up to date, load a lightweight
page from Gmail in a hidden iframe for any page with hCards. An
example "lightweight" page would be
