I've keep up on this list because I find the work exciting. I have never
coded anything with greasemonkey although I did at one time install the
software and run a simple examle.
Any who, what I would like to know is if it is possible to modify using
greasemonkey a java applet running inside the browser, in my case IE. At
work we have an application where the vendor isn't very responsive to fixing
small bugs or slight configuration wants so I started thinking this weekend
if greasemonkey could somehow talk to the java applet that this program runs
in I could manipulate the program using a text file with options, etc that
would be loaded and used to modify the behavior of say a drop down box in
java or notice error messages and do a little macro.. etc.
Just for the record this is an app that runs using Oracle's 10g app server.
If greasemonkey can't do this does anyone know if something out there does.
The users running the app do have admin access to there local machines.
thanks.
