[Greasemonkey] Cannot install user scripts

Hi

I am getting this error in the javascript console when installing helloworld.user.js:

resetting the about:config for greasemonkey.editor seems to make no difference. I can clear the contents and retry but everytime I try to install helloworld.user.js, it just puts the correct location of the file in greasemonkey.editor and displays the error message in the console.

I guess it is something to do with mimetypes and firefox but I cannot see how to fix it.
