Not for me it doesn't. I've been using the combo for a few months and
no problems.

Ocassionally, GM will get disabled somehow (grey monkey in the status
bar) and I'll have to click it to re-enable it. My assumption is it's
getting clicked somehow by accident. But that'd be the first thing I'd
check in your case :)
