[Greasemonkey] GMail window.location.href strangness

I made a GMscript that adds a link to the NAV bar of GMail - the link works
and takes you to the right place - it however does not
update the address bar.  It stays at mail.google.com/ .  Now the strange
thing is, the link on the page pointing back to gmail then throws a JS error
regarding location.href (yet my script doesnt call that - or maybe I am
tired right now).

This error wasn't occuring earlier today on a different machine (same FF and
GM vers).

If anyone wants to take a gander and see if the issue is repeatable - that
would be immense
