[Greasemonkey] script signing - proviledges

I am working on a utility grease monkey script for copy and pasting -
issue is, it uses some of the FF priviledged calls.  Does anyone know how
(or point to an indepth howto)
about signing scripts??  What I have found seems vaque and confusing.

- is it possible to sign a script that is useable by any domain such as: //
@include         http*
- is this call available without restriction if I make it an extension:
     netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege
('UniversalXPConnect');
