Here, using Firefox 1.06 under Win2K Pro, the installed extension list
lives in the file extensions.rdf, in

C:\Documents and Settings\Dennis McCunney\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\abb5sc89.DWM\extensions

Adjust for your OS, and try editing that file and deleting the bogus
entry.  Extensions.rdf is a plain ASCII file which can be changed by
any text editor.
