[Greasemonkey] Reading Bookmarks

AUTOMATICALLY accessing bookmarks is a severe security risk
and is NOT allowed. (it can be done with an extension, so you
have to assume/hope nothing bad is being done with them)
If you want to access your own bookmarks file, or allow
someone else to access theirs, you can do that, and then run
some script, or something, on them. Just load them into a
browser window and go at it. You just have to know where the
bookmarks file is located and what it is named, which is, or
can be, different for each operating system. (Win/Mac/*nix)
For example, in Windows, it is usually located somewhere like:
file:///C:/yourwindowsdir/Application%20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/
Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default/bookmarks.html
When someone makes an inquiry of this type, security-aware
people often suspect potential nefarious deeds and such.
What did you want to do with the bookmarks?

I often enjoy Casting my Pearls Before Swine,
if only to trip them up, piss them off, and/or
totally freak them out.

the Balloon Doggies demanded it!
