Just to let you know, the problem has been fixed since the 4th. The
hangs were being triggered by injecting a script, so if you had any
running on *, it would hang/crash. Aaron seems to be on vacation now,
but the issue was able to be fixed without greasemonkey people needing
to take a look.
For those curious, check out bug 310864 [1] and bug 311022 [2], but
basically greasemonkey helped point out a problem with the javascript
changes for inner/outer window split that could have been a bigger
issue later.
