Well, of the 4 scripts I use only 2 work with 0.6.x - a 50% failure rate.

Now, I'm a pretty small sample base, but it does suggest that there is
a problem out there.  Part of the trouble is that relatively few
people will be using 1.5.  Even less will be using GreaseMonkey, in
part because finding a working 1.5 version isn't simple (it's there if
you go digging, but not obvious).  The result is that, I suspect,
relatively few people are testing scripts against 1.5/0.6.x - which
means the visibility of broken scripts is likely to be low.
