I stepped in on Beta 2, which perfomed quite bad, overall. I then looked 
for extensions and did some minor tweaks to the extensions by hand, 
because it is usual the extension's ID that is wrong, which is easy to 
fix when you know how.  There's a thread about that going on at the 
firefox public fora. You definitely need the nightly build extension 
cause several extensions work at once with that.

I did a dual install but actually never really used 1.0.7 again.

At the moment I am quite satisfied. Since RC1, Firefox runs very nice, 
smooth and fast.
I loved the Canvas sample sites.

A few userscripts broke, but not that many. I think they broke since the 
security update for GM, so I would not blame Firefox as such. I do have 
the impression that many developers never looked at their scripts since 
they made them public.
