Most of my response would otherwise be rude and ungrateful for your
work on GM, so I'll just stick to the non-insulting part.

I thought that a user building a XPI is not the same thing as making a
release. I wanted to test out the new features, not use this as my
main build. I thought it was possible that others may also be
interested in trying this out without going through CVS, and I assumed
that the filename and accompanying message made that clear. Sorry if
it was not.
