There are lots of complicated problems with binary shared files.  Or
would this be something downloaded and edited in the browser for
convenience (and not to share)?

I think if this is done, it should probably be an extension, because
you'll quickly find the limitations of GM for something this complex.

You might find it useful to prototype in, then move to an extension, though.
