I remain in favor of sending some kind of GM notification (although I
don't think it's particularly important) but more and more and I find
myself hoping that user mediation catches on and destroys the current
economics of the Net (advertising).  I'd like to have some facet of the
American culture that isn't completely dominated by capitalism.
