This is the crux of the matter.  Greasemonkey is not about engaging
with publishers  At all.  Half the GM scripts out there block ads
(despite my repeated pleas to install Adblock instead).  What is that
saying to publishers?  "Hey, cool stuff, but it would be better
without the ads?"  I'm pretty sure they know that already.  Hell, I
have ads on some of my sites (of course I don't see them, since
Adblock removes them).  For the other half (usability improvements,
new features), the discussion should take place, but it can (and is,
and will continue to) take place outside of the HTTP headers we send
under the covers.

Engagement is fine, but leave HTTP alone.
