If we're all going to play armchair lawyer, I would be more concerned
about patents that Opera Software might have filed. They added user
scripts to Opera in the 8.0 beta stages; any patents have been filed
prior to that. (I have no information on whether they filed anything
that would affect Greasemonkey.)
