have a schedule for SeaMonkey 2.0 Beta 2:

* String freeze: Thursday, August 27th 23:59 PDT / 2009-08-28 06:59 UTC
* Code freeze: Tuesday, September 1st 23:59 PDT / 2009-09-02 06:59 UTC
** This is feature freeze for the SeaMonkey 2.0 series!
* QA Start, tree unfreeze: Wednesday, September 2nd, afternoon UTC
* Release: September 8

This schedule is also available on the wiki, linked from the central

The QA start and tree unfreeze as well as actual release dates are the
ideal cases and depend on being able to fix all blockers in time and on
QA bringing up no significant problems that would stop shipping.

The string freeze is strict and affects all strings in suite/ *which
means no mailnews change that needs suite string changes can land during
that freeze*.
Please inform us if any mailnews changes might plan string changes
around that timeframe so we can coordinate, if in any way possible, do
them before our string freeze or after the unfreeze.

We also want to request that no major mailnews changes be checked in
while we are code-frozen.
We're trying to keep the frozen period on comm-central as short as
possible and the tree will be unfrozen as soon as we have tagged the
tree - if all blockers are fixed by the code freeze, that will be in the
UTC afternoon of September 2nd.

Anything coming up in QA, which can start as soon as builds are up, a
few hours after tagging, and requiring a build 2, can be fixed on the
relbranch and won't disturb further development on comm-central.

All this is us trying to impact Thunderbird as little as possible, as we
know they have different schedules and their freeze coming up shortly
after our tentative release.

SeaMonkey developers, once again be aware that code freeze for this 2.0
Beta 2 is feature freeze for the whole 2.0 series - exceptions, if any,
will be very rare and need to be of really high value.


We also are targeting to freeze for SeaMonkey 2.0 final on October 6th,
it's not yet decided if we'll release candidates as public RCs following
that or not, but expect the real 2.0 to happen in October.

Recentemente houbo cambios nos repositorios de mozilla no que respecta ao 
Firefox.

Estes cambios aínda non están totalmente e correctamente aplicados no 
dashboard, polo que a información que apareza no mesmo pode que non estea 
actualizada ou sexa correcta..

the Thunderbird developers have also discussed the timing of the 
overall string freeze for the final Thunderbird 3 release. Our 
proposal is to freeze all strings for Thunderbird 3 on September 
29 2009, giving localizers a minimum of 4 weeks time before the 
first release candidate (RC1). 

Please note that this date is preliminary at this point and will be 
reviewed as we approach the beta4 release date. We could move it 
forward if we are happy with the strings at b4 or we could move it 
back a bit if really needed. 

However, the 4 weeks timeframe to get your localization in shape 
will remain in place. So if we decide to move the string freeze 
date forward or backward, localizers will always have at least four 
weeks to work on their localization for Thunderbird 3 without any 
string changes.

the Thunderbird developers have finalized the release schedule for 
Thunderbird beta4. Here it is (All dates use time of 23:59 PST): 

    * Slushy Code Freeze date: 2009-09-07 (Monday) 
    * Firm String freeze date: 2009-09-09 (Wednesday) 
    * Firm Code Freeze date: 2009-09-11 (Friday 
    * l10n-mozilla-1.9.1 freeze date: 2009-09-14 (Monday) 
    * Release builds start: 2009-09-15 (Tuesday) 
    * Estimated release date: 2009-09-22 (Tuesday) 

These dates have the following goals: 

    * All code-related work should ideally be done by the slushy code 
      freeze date 
    * The firm code freeze date will be for fixing the remaining 
      blocker bugs and bugs that have release driver approval (beta4 
      release driver is Mark Banner, Standard8 on IRC) 
    * The l10n-mozilla-1.9.1 date would be the last time by which we 
      would accept changes in localizations 

The most obvious change for localizers (compared to the previous beta 
releases) is that we removed the slushy string freeze. We felt that 
the slushy string freeze caused more confusion than was necessary. 
As a trade-off we have added additional time between the firm string 
freeze and the l10n-cutoff date, to make it easier for localizers to 
get their locales in shape.

Listaxe cos últimos cambios enviados ao repositorio de Mozilla, en orde 
cronolóxica, os máis recentes son os últimos..

Por certo, para Firefox3.6.x o repo de mercurial é un novo: mozilla-1.9.2

Agora mesmo fx3.6.x está verde, quere dicir que está completa a tradución ao 
100% (polo de agora). Que estea verde non quere dicir que non teña posibles 
erros. Se alguén detecta algún que avise.
