Personally I would be happy with making this a firefox-only feature 
until the suite adopts the new toolkit (that's in the roadmap right)? If 
the suite actually never happens, then too bad. But it's well-known that 
  I'm a lazy bastard. :-)

Well, if the skin subdirectory is the proper way to have an icon, and we 
need an icon, then I don't think that a skin subdirectory counts as 
bloat. What about if we only take the icons we need (with permission 
from the author of course)?
