Mertsch,
Excellent idea about the XUL error page setting, I will get that on the list
for the next version! Do let me know if you think of others as well.
As far as the settings being visible goes, my thought was to make it seem as
simple as possible up front, and only show the more complicated options if
the user clicks "Custom". I'll give this idea some more thought and maybe
post a poll on the website to see what folks would prefer.
Thanks for mentioning "FireTune"; it is definitely an excellent utility,
another good one to check out is the "Tweak Network" extension.
There are some subtle differences between them; Fasterfox's prefetching
mechanism is totally unique. It causes all of the links on a page to be
added to the queue to be prefetched; this is not a simple toggle of a
setting, but rather a totally new feature. Fasterfox is also cross platform
compatible, whereas, I believe that FireTune only runs on Windows machines.
Thanks again for your help and input,
Tony

Subject: feedback
very nice extension!
although you can do everything with FireTune
would be nice if you add the XUL error page setting
and if you use one of the presets it would be nice to have all tabs
visible but values greyed out
