Ben -
If you could kindly find the time to help me reproduce the bug, I would
definitely appreciate it.
Here are the steps I followed (with both Firefox 1.0.7 and Firefox 1.5B
under Windows XP SP2):
1. Entered customer DNS server settings by "LAN Properties > TCP/IP
Properties"
2. Installed Fasterfox XPI
3. Rebooted Firefox
4. Toggled several options in Fasterfox
5. Checked DNS server settings
6. Uninstalled Fasterfox
7. Rebooted Firefox
8. Checked DNS server settings
Both times I checked the DNS server settings, they were still in there. Are
you able to reproduce the error, can you give me more specifics on how I
can?
Again, I really appreciate your time and effort to help me improve.
Thanks,
Tony

Hi Ben,
Sorry for the delayed response, I appreciate the bug report, and am looking
into this right now.
Especially sorry that it caused you the inconvenience of having to go back
to your ISP and get the settings again and everything. I'll keep you posted
on updates.
Cheers,
Tony

Hello,
I'd have posted this to bugzilla.mozdev.org but there isn't a fasterfox
entry at present.
Problem: Some setting in fasterfox resets the DNS servers that have been put
in to "obtain automatically". This may just be on Windows XP, or it may all
Windows versions or perhaps even all OSes. Pls find attached screenshot of
the settings that are changed.
Regards,
Ben
