Hi Ty,

 

ExtraDNS looks like a neat program.  I will have to look into it more and
see what I might be able to learn from it.

 

One of the things Fasterfox currently does is to control how long Firefox
will cache the DNS responses.  Since DNS information rarely changes, it is
usually safe to cache this for a day or so and thus reduces the amount of
times this information has to be requested.  You can play around with
setting different lengths of time to hold DNS responses in Fasterfox.

Love your program.  I found ExtraDNS some time ago from
http://www.extratools.com/  & I love that too.  I asked the guy if he would
develop it further & he said no...he's done.  If you could replicate it &
make it better & a Firefox plug-in...you'd have a winner on your hands.
