[Fasterfox] options access

Jonathan,

Your point is well taken. I will have to give this some more thought.

Some users have written saying that it's much more convenient in the options
dialog, and some users (like you) have either had trouble finding it or else
don't like the clutter. There seems to be some merit to both sides of the
argument.

Maybe I should put a poll on my website and let people vote. If there is
interest, I'll make the switch.

Either way, I really appreciate your feedback and your email. I like being
challenged and just want to make the greatest amount of users happy.

Tony

My compliments on your extension.

However, I think you have a major UI flaw. You place the options into the
Firefox options dialog instead of off the Extensions Manager window. This is
not only confusing because it is unconventional (I had to actually visit
your site just to find where to access the options) but is generally
misleading. I don't mean that it maliciously deception, just that the
Options dialog is for basic FF options, not extensions. Almost every
extension has an options UI, but placing everyone in the Option dialog would
be overwhelming. Of course, you can always give the user the choice to add
the ext options UI into the FF options UI, but that should be the user's
choice.

discussion.

Of course, yo'ure the dev and can do whatever you want b/c it's open source.
But open source is really about community creating the best possible product
for the community. Thanks for listening.

Jonathan
