Sairam,
Thanks for the compliments and I'm glad Fasterfox has worked well for you.
The Page Load Timer begins running the second a page begins to load, and
ends when the page is finished loading. It is designed so that you can
perform time tests on pages with different settings and see which settings
work best for you. If you do not like the timer, you may right click it and
disable it.
As you pointed out, it would be nice to show you a difference in how much
time it has saved you, but I really can't think of how this can be done. If
you do come up with an idea, please let me know.
Hope this helps, please let me know if you have questions or suggestions,
Tony

this extension is destined for greatness.
very cool, thanks for including a popup blocker.
someone tell me what the fasterfox status bar is showing, is it the time
taken to load a page.
would be great if it were to say how much time fasterfox saved compared
to a normal connection, but then again this seems quite impossible. its
options are conveniently located in the option instead of extensions and
then options. puts all other network setting tweakers to shame
thanks again for a great extensions
don't forget emailing me about what the status bar means
