Hi
Ny name is David and I ride an online shop (tienda.cyberdark.net).
I've noticing problems with users that have Fasterfox installed. The
problems is this:
I have "dynamic urls", let's see, URLs that seem to be static
(http://tienda.cyberdark.net/a-feast-for-crows-a-song-of-ice-and-fire-4-n247
0.html) but that are, in fact, php scripts that take some part of the
request url (2470) and look in the database for the sheet of the book, via
Mod_rewrite. Is a very convenient way to make good urls for search engines.
All my site is made this way.
When a user with Fasterfox cames, downloads almost the whole page, sending
dozens of request to my server, that, as I said before, are dynamic, not
static, making a high load on my server :(
I know, maybe I shouldn't use .html extension for these kind of pages, but
is very convenient.
I'd suggest and update on fasterfox for it to be able to recognise some kind
of meta-tag that could make webmasters disable fasterfox on the website the
user is visiting.
Regards, and sorry for my English.
