Firefox will go over your maximum cache size if it has to (or if it's 
being stupid). There really is no need to adjust it all the time.

Also, Fasterfox does allow you to customize the settings. Select 
Courteous, then select Custom. Now everything should be on the Courteous 
settings, but you can change what you want to.
