[Fasterfox] Language Problem..

Quick follow-up note:
After checking into this, I found that since I listed the locales
alphabetically in my extension, de-DE came first and was set as the default
for users of unsupported locales.
Version 0.8.1 now has the list reordered so that en-US comes first.
Please check back tomorrow morning CST (GMT-6) for the new version.
Thanks again for the helpful bug report!!

Hi John,
This might be a bug that you have discovered.
The way translations work in Mozilla is that a folder is created for each
language containing all of the phrases in the extension. Fasterfox has a
folder for 11 different languages.
Firefox then chooses the proper language to display based on the locale of
your machine. Since there is no Greek translation, it has to pick another
language.
I'm confirming this now with some experts at the babelzilla website, but
since the German locale is called de-DE, and is 1st alphabetically, I'm
guessing that it just defaults to the first alphabetically. Hopefully there
is a way to default it to English.
If you can, please check one thing for me:
1. Type "about:config" in the URL bar
2. Scroll down to "general.useragent.locale" and let me know what the
value is. If it is not en-US, you may wish to change it to that, restart
Firefox, and see if the extension displays in English.
Thanks and I'll keep you posted as I learn more,
Tony

Dear Last Resort..(I'm helpless)
I downloaded fasterfox from mozilla's extensions page and from your page
several times but I keep downloading the german version.
I don't know how to change it to English (I would like greek but such
translation isn't available yet) or find the English version and
Download it. Is there any chance I download the English version and somehow
it gets set to german? Its starting to get to my nerves.
Thanx in advance.. John (The Greek) Tobbs
