[Fasterfox] Prefetching Question

Hi Roni,
I'm currently working on some more features to help customize what is
prefetched and how it is done.
However, in regards to dynamic pages, I don't think this is ever really a
good idea. First of all, even if certain dynamic pages are safe, others may
perform an action like logging out or emptying a shopping cart. The risk in
prefetching pages like this is just too high. Secondly, most dynamic pages
are set to reload every time from the server and never load a cached
version. This means that even if it were prefetched, Firefox would still
request a new one from the server.
Good idea, and let me know if you come up w/ other things.
Thanks,
Tony

Subject: [Fasterfox] Prefetching Question
Hey Fasterfox Dev(s),
I downloaded Fasterfox a few days ago after thinking about how useful a
prefetching plugin would be but I was disappointed that it only cached
certain file types. I read the reasons why on the FAQ page of the Fasterfox
website but feel that there should be some way to allow other extensions to
be prefetched as many of the websites I view do not have dynamic content but
utilize things like SSI or PHP to add a certain banner to every page.
So my question would be, will there ever be an override setting for websites
(or file types but websites are probably a better idea) that use extensions
beyond .html, .htm, and .xml?
Thanks,
Roni
