[Fasterfox] Prefetching problem (?)

Tony,

I downloaded fasterfox, but had a problem. Here at work, my homepage is the front page of the
company's intranet. This is tricky, because I can't just send you a link so you can see the
page... anyway. One area of the intranet homepage is frame that randomly displays one of about
eight images, a different one whenever you bring up the page. I know I'm not describing this too
well, sorry. It's like, one image is the company logo and a graphic that says "401K," and if you
click on it it takes you to the HR department's info page on the 401K program, etc. Others take
you to the photo gallery from the company picnic; the page to order discount theme park tickets,
etc.

So once I loaded fasterfox, the intranet home page continuously loads through these images, and
just keeps cycling through them in a loop. It doesn't stop after it's loaded each one once. So I
tried uninstalling fasterfox, and it still does it even without the extension! I tried rebooting
the system, but there's no change. If I re-download fasterfox and disable prefetching will it
stop doing this? Please let me know - thanks.

Derek
