Hi Adam,

The presets, e.g. Optimized, Turbo, etc. don't do anything beside set the
values of the other settings.

Basically they are starting points for users who would otherwise have no
idea how to set the other settings.

My suggestion would be to pick a preset to start with, then select custom
and configure your other options.

I should also mention that in the new version 1.0.0, the page load timer and
prefetching settings are now independent of the preset. It is currently
available at http://fasterfox.mozdev.org.

Hope this helps,
Tony

Subject: [Fasterfox] Re: All Preferences Should Be Customizeable

I use 'Optimized' preset and would like '...Page Load Timer' unchecked,
'Disk Cache Capacity' set
to custom size and 'Submenu Delay' set to '0'. How to accomplish through
Fasterfox interface? Do I
first set 'Custom' values, click 'OK', then click 'Optimized', click 'OK'?
Or do the values reset
to 'Optimized' values (from previously set 'Custom') when 'Optimized' is
selected? Or best to
manually set values through 'Custom'? Problem with that is that the preset
values are unlisted.
What to do?

How is this to be resolved?
