Hi Tobias,

Hey, your English isn't bad at all. Hopefully this description helps since
the buttons are in English:
1. After clicking the link, a light yellow bar should display at the top,
click the "Edit Options" button.
2. In the new window which is displayed, click the "Allow" button.
3. Click the "Close" button.
4. Click the download link again.

I hope this helps. If you are still experiencing strange behavior, you
might want to try reinstalling Firefox or poking around on some of the
Mozilla forums.

Tony

Subject: [Fasterfox] Fasterfox can't be installed

Dear Sir or Madam,

please don't laugh at my English because I'm from Germany and I'm a student.

What I wanted to ask is:
What can I do to install the Fasterfox?
I tried to download and install the .xpi file but it didn't work.
My Firefox 1.5 always says that it hasn't got the authorisation to
install any files. I should change my properties in Extras >

Einstellungen (ENGLISH VERSION: Tools > Properties) I looked up the
settings and set them so, that even every website can install
software on my computer.
After this variation the mozilla site couldn't install the extension,
either.
I don't know what I should try to do or what I did wrong before.

I would be pleased, if this mail would be answered soon and seriously.

Your's faithfully

Tobias Gutsch
