The problem is that GnuPG doesn't tell in a proper (i.e. parseable,
unique, non-localized) way that it's waiting for a lock. Checking for
something like "gpg: waiting for lock" doesn't succeed because the
message is different if GnuPG is used e.g. in German or French.
