1. I verified the same signed message using Apple's Mail with GPGMail
Version: 1.2.0 (v56), here's the output:
Signed by Ludwig Huegelschaefer <mlisten at hammernoch.net>.
Signed on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 5:37:00 AM US/Eastern
Key fingerprint: B6 65 BD 1A CA 1A 98 DB 7B 41 E6 D5 13 C5 0F 5A
2. Here's a copy/paste of the relevant portion of Ludwig's e-mail raw
source:
This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156)

3. In Shredder, Ludwig's above e-mail comprises two attachments:
one named: 'signature.asc' that when opened with a text editor shows:

Your own e-mail, signed in-line, verifies:
OpenPGP Security Info
Good signature from Jean-David Beyer (Institute for Regimented Whimsey)
<jeandavid8 at verizon.net>
Key ID: 0x9A2FC99A / Signed on: 2/17/09 7:51 AM
Key fingerprint: CC3C 3A4D D593 3491 DA41 8FE9 3EDB B65E 9A2F C99A
When I send myself a PGP/MIME signed message, it does not show upon
reception any attachment, it verifies correctly, and its raw source shows:
This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156)
