eliminate other causes: please create a new TB profile (using "thunderbird
- -profileManager" to start it, deactivate "use this profile per default",
just minimally install TB (one ID, Enigmail) and retest.

What I am telling is what to _try_. Sending a signed message crashes your TB.
I got that. However, how can I gather data from your computer other than
enabling full logging and do what causes it to crash?
