[Enigmail] can not query passphrase in batch mode

Than it would be better if
A) Enigmail does not enable this option automatically at all or
B) at least Enigmail should inform the user about the changed 
configuration by a popup window. Still this may cause problems for 
unskilled users who don't understand the message.

What do you think?

Do you recommend to use GnuPG 2 already or should I wait for a better 
support by Enigmail?
