[Enigmail] can not query passphrase in batch mode

Did you try to decrypt anything on the command line? Something like

	gpg -d x.txt

where x.txt is an encrypted file.

Does gpg ask for a passphrase? Are there error messages? Does this work
with encrypted content encrypted to all your keys?
