Thank you, Michael. You are quite correct.

Olav, another member of the Enigmail team, pointed me in the correct direction
off-list yesterday. As I explained to him, being on multiple project deadlines,
my time was very short, and I was reacting to the information that had been
posted to the list.

A use case from the OP also certainly would have helped.

Given the new information, I have to change my previous answer to "We'll see."
