[Enigmail] Trying out my mail cryptography

Greetings all.
This is my 1st attempt at any form of email crptography.
I use Firefox for my Browser and Thunderbird for my mail.  I have been
using these two for at least 3 years and possibly more.
Both products are so much better then the , um crap that comes from
Redmond Washington.
I would be great full if some kind hearted folk would help me in testing
out Enigmail's features for me.
According to the instructions, (Yes, a man using instructions.  Amazing
no?), it says I'm to ask for Enigmail to "sign it".
