OK I was checking only the signature and verification of signatures,
mostly because I rely heavily on that.

So after your question I've been trying to send an encrypted message and
have failed every time. With this failure:

Sending of message failed.
Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct
and try again

Settings work fine in TB2, and searching finds nothing that appears to
be amiss.
