OK, I just started up TB with Enigmail as the only enabled add-on. I
then clicked on a message in my inbox which was signed by a coworker
whose public key I have and used to be able to use in Enigmail; there
was no visible reaction from Enigmail. I opened up enigdbug.txt, and
these were the last 4 lines:
2007-09-14 13:43:14.437 enigmailMessengerOverlay.js: enigMessageFrameUnload
2007-09-14 13:43:14.437 enigmailMessengerOverlay.js: enigMessageCleanup
2007-09-14 13:43:14.437 enigmailMsgHdrViewOverlay.js: enigMessageUnload
2007-09-14 13:43:14.453 enigmailMessengerOverlay.js: enigMessageFrameLoad
I then went to the enigmail newsgroup and selected the message I'm
replying to now, and this OpenPGP message appeared in the message pane:
Unverified signature; click Pen icon. Many new lines had appeared in
enigdbug.txt, which made it clear it was working:
2007-09-14 13:48:00.984 enigmailMessengerOverlay.js: enigMessageFrameUnload
2007-09-14 13:48:00.984 enigmailMessengerOverlay.js: enigMessageCleanup
2007-09-14 13:48:08.046 enigmailMsgHdrViewOverlay.js: enigStartHeaders
...
gpg: Signature made 09/05/07 11:20:59 using RSA key ID 1DB0E8B0
gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found
2007-09-14 13:48:08.187 enigmailCommon.js: EnigConvertToUnicode: utf-8
This behavior is the same (recognizing encrypted/signed messages in the
newsgroup but not in mail folders) as when I have all of the other
add-ons enabled.
Is there anything else from the log I should send?
Thanks very much,
Becca
