[Enigmail] Thunderbird-Enigmail - verifying signed message...

I don't know if this is an Enigmail or TB issue, but here goes:
I have ThunderBird 2.0.0.5 (autoupdated yesterday from 2.0.0.4) and
Enigmail 0.95.2 running on a Windows XP Pro SP2 laptop.

When I receive Enigmail list messages I often see the following at the
top of the message pane before the Subject line:

"OpenPGP: Part of the message signed; click on Pen icon for details"

What does this mean? And where can I find a pen icon to click? There is
nothing in my TB window at least (if you do not count the Write button,
which has a pen icon).
The only thing I have is an envelope icon with a question mark next to it...
