[Enigmail] Encrypted HTML mail does not show in Outlook

I don't know if this is a problem with Enigmail or with GPGOL (plug-in
for Outlook 2003). But here are the observations:

The systems are on Windows XP Pro SP2 (laptop and desktop). I have used
GPG4WIN to install GPG and the various components on both systems. I
have used an earlier version of gpg4win than the most recent one (1.0.4
or 1.0.8). I have installed the latest Enigmail into Thunderbird
1.5.0.12 on my laptop.

- I use Thunderbird on my laptop to compose an HTML formatted email to
my alternate mail address.
- I set it to be encrypted and send it off.
- Then I use TB to download and read the message.
- My passphrase is requested and then I can see the decrypted HTML
message in its glory inside Thunderbird.

Now for the problem:
- I use Outlook2003 on my desktop PC to download and view the message.
- Outlook opens the message as an empty page with two attachments.
- I can now use the GPGOL "Decrypt" button to decrypt the message
- After entering the passphrase I now see the HTML message *source*, but
it is not rendered as it should in Outlook!

As far as I can see there can be two reasons for this behaviour:

A) EnigMail does not encrypt HTML in the way Outlook expects it to be.

B) GPGOL does not decrypt the encrypted message parts correctly so that
Outlook recognizes the HTML message part as a valid HTML formatted
message after decryption.

In case A it is a problem with Enigmail

In case B it is a problem with GPGOL and does not belong on thus list
(off topic). But I still would like some pointer to how it can be solved.

I am trying to integrate the GPG encryption in the messaging between
myself and a number of associates and these mainly use MS Outlook 2003
as their mail client. So the GPG4WIN package that includes GPGOL is what
seems to be the best way to do this.
But they also always use Outlook HTML formatting so this must be preserved.

Is this at all possible??

PS: I have read about a recently introduced incompatibility in GPG4WIN,
but my tests are done with a previous release and are not subject to
that particular problem (I believe).
