[Enigmail] Bug: cannot update from 0.94.0 and 0.94.3 to 0.94.4

sooner or later you will have to (if you care about security fixes).
For me, the upgrade worked like a charm (and I really love the spellcheck-
as-you-type feature). There are also Extensions that backup your settings
so that you *could* start with a blank install and import them back. BTW,
I did not, it was a good time to get rid of everything I fiddled with once.

Sorry, I assumed that you know how to install Extensions (Addons in 2.0
terms) since you managed to install Enigmail in the first place. In the
Thunderbird main window, please use the menu item "Tools" -> "Extensions".
In the dialog popping up, there is an "Install" button at the bottom.
Klick it and select the previously saved file. It will ask you again and
show "Enigmail will be updated on next TB restart" or something similar.
Close all TB windows and restart it. Check "OpenPGP" -> "About OpenPGP":
you should see version 0.94.4 now.

Apart from that, Patrick fixed the SHA checksum of the 0.94.4 package,
so the usual update process should also work again.

Sorry, that was a misunderstanding. You run 0.94.0; *I* just checked
wherher the update process also works from 0.94.3 to 0.94.4.
