[Enigmail] how long does it take to get activated on the forum and rss feeds question

First, I tried signing up for the forum and was then informed that my
account had to be activated by an admin. Any idea as to how long it
might take an admin to just, out of the blue, decide to activate me?
I have a forum with admin activation enabled, myself. Of course, I
never actually activate people - I get lots of emails from my message
board saying that a new account has registered and needs to be
activated, but in truth, I don't care enough to do so. I worry that
Enigmail's forums operate in the same way...
Second, after installing the Thunderbird plugin Enigmail, some of my
RSS feeds no longer work. Those that don't use incomplete description
tags work, but some RSS feeds do use incomplete descriptions. For
example, this one:
http://www.securityfocus.com/rss/vulnerabilities.xml
Previously, the content would be pulled from the link tag, however,
that no longer seems to be happening. I think Enigmail may have
disabled HTML rendering of emails, however, I absolutely do not want
HTML rendering disabled for RSS feeds.
Any idea as to what I can do to fix this?
I posted this on forums.mozillazine.org and was referred to the
enigmail forums:

Thanks!
