[Editcss] Breaking EditCSS out of the Sidebar

Hello,

I have been using EditCSS [1] a *lot* lately. It has made me a hero  
at work more times than I can count. It rocks triumphant.

But it is a sidebar, which means that it squishes the page  
horizontally, so that that some of my carefully-accomplished  
positioning is verkakte after I close the sidebar...

Does anyone have an idea of how I might be able to break EditCSS out  
of the sidebar while maintaining its "live" relationship to the page  
being displayed?
