[Dragtotab] Lost Re-siz Thumb?

Hi,
I can understand what your saying, but I don't know the reason for this
behavior because I cannot reproduce it on my system.

When you drag the "thumb" to the search box, it should theoretically be
placed there. Maybe there is a "skin/theme" problem and it is still there,
but it is just not distinguishable. Trying moving the mouse pointer to the
regions around the search box and see if the mouse curor changes to a
"horizontal double arrow". The change in cursor should be an indication that
it is there, but is invisible.

Are you using a different theme than the default theme that comes with
Firefox?

Another possible reason is that it might be conflicting with other installed
extensions. This is unlikely as my extension is pretty minimal and compact,
but there's a small chance that it could.

What other extensions do you have installed?

When you do a re-install, it is normal for the search box to get wider. But
this should only happen if you have resized the search box on a previous
occasion. When you do the re-install, this extension picks up your previous
saved settings and resizes the search box automatically.

I have tested my extension in your same configuration (WinXP SP2/Firefox
1.0.3/RSB 0.0.5) and haven't had problems with that.

I cannot provide any other solutions yet, but if someone else on this
mailing list is experiencing the same thing and has a solution, please
reply. Alternatively, I can only point you to other methods of resizing the
search box using hard-coded values in the userChrome.css file:
