[Dragtotab] Search box resizer

Hello:
After succesfully changing the search box width through the extension, 
I decided to try to accomplish the same thing via the .css files.  So I 
uninstalled the resizer extension and tried the other method.  This 
didn't seem to work, so I deleted the code I had added to the css file 
and returned it to as before.  Then I repeated the resizer extension 
process, BUT this time the resizer served only to move the entire 
search box left and right, rather than changing the actual width.  Any 
ideas how to get it working properly again?
