[Dragtotab] MileWideBack - open/close sidebar function?

It occurred to me that it would be great to use MileWideBack's
invisible 1px button at the left edge of the screen to open or close
the sidebar - something which can't be done practically with mouse
gestures, since you can't use them over the sidebar. I'd really
appreciate it if you could add this feature in the next version of
MileWideBack, make a seperate extension or perhaps help me change the
extension's code for this function (I tried, but I couldn't get it to
work).

This is the Optimoz Mouse Gestures extension's "custom gesture" code
to open/close the sidebar:
