I'm a student studying at Keio university, Japan and now I have to study about firefox extensions for one of my assignment. And now, I have to look at FlashBlock codes. But it's a little difficult for me to look codes written by others. So, I would like to get the documents for explanation of those codes. And the part I would like to know is how the web pages can be retrieved from the proxy server (to make some modifications to those pages) before it is displayed in the browser and how it can be sent back. I need to know it urgently. So, please send it to me as soon as possilbe if you have any of it. Thanks anyway. It simply did not work. I then joined the mailing list under "Adblocklearner" so here is a message for that. I just downloaded Adblock; it seems to work but only some of the time with Internet Explorer. I generally use Mozilla Firefox but for unknown reasons, it doesn't work with Space.com,a daily space newsletter. The images don't display, no matter what I do. However, it works with Explore, so I use that. But the ads drive me crazy. I tried Ad block and some of them, mostly whirling spinning flashing movies that are very annoying, are gone; but static ads are still there. I R-click on them and get a long list of options but nothing about blocking them. Any ideas? Thank you. Roger Williams, Boulder, Colorado. You should try: http://adblockplus.org/forum/ Oh and yes, try using adblockplus instead of adblock (if not doing so already). http://adblockplus.org/ I am not sure what problems you face when you visit space.com. But I am able to see if and use it without any hitches - using Firefox. - Mayuresh On Jan 16, 2008 3:00 AM, Roger A.C.
