[Discuss] quarantine individual incoming message

Hi,
someone can help me to find documentation about the option "allow 
antivirus clients to quarantine individual incoming message",
I need technical information about how it works.
An antivirus producer requested me to modify its product because it does 
not work with thunderbird.
