[Dictionarysearch] Japanese in Thunderbird 1.5.0.4

Hi!

I am using DictionarySearch 1.5 which works very smoothly with Firefox
1.5.0.4!

However, I would also like to use it in Thunderbird to have a handy way
to translate Japanese e-mails. However, the link generated by
DictionarySearch which is then passed on to the browser contains a
garbled search string.

I guess the handling of the character encoding in Thunderbird is a
little messed up. As I mentioned before, in FF it works right out of the
box.

I would appreciate any help here, since I surely have a lot of Japanese
e-mails to translate ;-)
